We Are FSTVL 2024 Cancelled Over Safety Concerns Amid Unprecedented Rainfall

This year’s We Are FSTVL has been called off due to safety concerns arising from adverse weather conditions.

Originally scheduled to take place at Central Park in Dagenham, East London on May 25th and 26th, the event has been cancelled after Barking & Dagenham council deemed the venue unsuitable for hosting a festival due to recent heavy rainfall.

Expressing their disappointment, the organisers of We Are FSTVL cited circumstances “beyond our control” as the reason for the cancellation. Ticket holders will receive refunds for their purchases.

The festival was set to feature headline performances by Eric Prydz and Chase & Status, alongside a lineup including Patrick Topping, Bou, Eats Everything, and The Martinez Brothers.

In a statement, We Are FSTVL acknowledged their extensive planning efforts for what was anticipated to be an exceptional event. However, with just days remaining before the scheduled setup, the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham concluded that the site was not adequately prepared to ensure the safety of attendees and equipment.

A spokesperson for Barking & Dagenham council explained that Central Park, having endured unprecedented levels of rainfall, was deemed incapable of accommodating the logistical requirements of We Are FSTVL. They offered apologies for any inconvenience caused.
